NEW FEATURE: Post Like system!!!

At long last, we have successfully implemented a comprehensive post rating/like system. With casual readers and visitors vastly outnumbering frequent posters, it is not always apparent to users that others are reading, enjoying and grateful for their posts. If you are too shy to post and want to express your thanks, now you can!

Liking a post is easy - click this thumbs up in the top right hand corner of the post: Image

Can I encourage everyone to use this new feature enthusiastically and liberally and be sure to go back to your favourite old topics and like old posts. This will help build up useful user 'like' profiles and give credit to the users who has provided so much value to this community. This in turn helps guests and newcomers sort useful answers and posters from others.

This goes to regular forum lurkers especially - please show your appreciation with a 'like'!

Featuring:
  • Liked post counters in every user profile (given & received)
  • Liked post leaderboard accessible from the index and Quick Links Menu
  • Receive notifications when your post is liked, configurable from the User Control Panel (in forum notification and/or email notifications available or off)
  • You can remove a like if you made a mistake by clicking the undo button where the thumbs up used to sit (but the user will be notified)
  • Plus more

Read the announcement and post any queries, comments or suggestions HERE

Once read, this announcement can be dismissed by clicking on the 'X' in the top right hand corner.

I have not got a place yet as the only ones left in the location i wanted are to small or way to big or over priced.
It looks like i will be around stafford or albion area.( maybe even near harry's)
If all goes well, i will have signed a lease by the end of the day.
I will let every one know as soon as it happens.

No he won't be, he will be his own boss!

I'll use this opportunity to give you a rap Ben.

Basically, he built pretty much the enitre driveline in my R100, except the diff....its run 10.7 @126(not 125) on a very mild 14psi and street PULP tune, driven to the track and home after, just putting some slicks on to race! Plenty more left in the car, and hoping to get it back out there soon!

And to all the doubters out there who don't belive that Indy blues can be tuned for nice street driving.....my car drives as nicely down low in 4th as my Dads RX8....its possible, i nearly let everyone talk me out of the Indy's cos everyone said they can't be tuned....well they can be!

Top work, and if you need it neat Ben can do it.....my car is a perfect example of EVERYTHING he can do!

Good luck Ben....now get a shop!!!!

Hey Ben,
Congrats on the start of the new business. Once you are up and running please drop me
a PM, I have some work that needs to be done, ie. and exhaust manifold and some oil lines
for the turbo. Oh and if you need any casual workers I would love some work on the side,
no mechanic qualifications as such but I have built my car from scratch and all my work is of
good quality :)
Thanks heaps,
Rx4

Best of luck Ben.

For those that don't know him, Ben never seems to bitch, will talk to or give advice to to anyone (regardless of whose stickers are on the car) and seems to avoid workshop politics, at least when I talk to him! Oh yeah, and his cars seem to go well too :D

Hey Ben, speaking from experience, this guy knows what he is on about. He built my series3 that ran at jambo last year, full motor build with a t04e and indy blues tuned smoothly ran a 11.3@124. Drove it home...never gave me any trouble at all...sad to sell a good motor in a good car! But my series 6 will be one of the first motors he will build at his new place and i cant wait to start the process again! Good luck Ben!

S3 13b Turbo 400+rwhp 11.4@124mph Sold!
S6....start the process again...this time faster!
So far, cusco coil-overs, half cage, 18's, rebuild+ 3inch, AVC-R, Power FC, Stainless Manifold, Single, 50mm Gate, FMIC!
