NEW FEATURE: Post Like system!!!

At long last, we have successfully implemented a comprehensive post rating/like system. With casual readers and visitors vastly outnumbering frequent posters, it is not always apparent to users that others are reading, enjoying and grateful for their posts. If you are too shy to post and want to express your thanks, now you can!

Liking a post is easy - click this thumbs up in the top right hand corner of the post: Image

Can I encourage everyone to use this new feature enthusiastically and liberally and be sure to go back to your favourite old topics and like old posts. This will help build up useful user 'like' profiles and give credit to the users who has provided so much value to this community. This in turn helps guests and newcomers sort useful answers and posters from others.

This goes to regular forum lurkers especially - please show your appreciation with a 'like'!

Featuring:
  • Liked post counters in every user profile (given & received)
  • Liked post leaderboard accessible from the index and Quick Links Menu
  • Receive notifications when your post is liked, configurable from the User Control Panel (in forum notification and/or email notifications available or off)
  • You can remove a like if you made a mistake by clicking the undo button where the thumbs up used to sit (but the user will be notified)
  • Plus more

I know the Dysons are using a massive precision promod turbo on their billet semi pp R100, but that's hardly a comparison to a street application. They have great results.

At the time i was looking at EFRs on the interwebs, it seemed all the skyline people were making big noises how the 6262? or whatever the equivalent size to 8374 is, was making more power and spooling earlier than efr, and there were dyno graphs and youtube videos and all. I dont know if that turbo just works better on RB26 and 25's than EFR or if its all bullshit, because it seems unlikely anything should be able to out-spool an efr with a turbine wheel with half the mass of anything else, all things being equal.

Ok it seems all the controversy on various forums i encountered were based on this guy's one back to back of an EFR8374 1.05ewg vs a precision 6266 CEA (billet) with single scroll .83. The precision has a bigger compressor, I think the turbines are similar size, but the housings are like two sizes different. Not really apples and apples. Also the dyno doesnt show what transient response is like.

I have a Bridgeport rew with a 6266. It comes on early and provides good clean boost from 3.5. I can't comment on how it compares to other turbos unfortunately but 5k kms into build its been faltless.
