Rubber kits - where to buy

#1 Post by Bigfoot » Sun Oct 07, 2018 7:09 pm

Hi,

I'm after a rubber kit for an rx2 coupe: doors, windows, bailey channels, bonnet/door stops...the lot!

There seem to be a few around e.g rare spares, Phill's, Scotts, and some bloke in Milperra apparently. Does anyone have any experience? What's good and what's not?

Thanks

Hey mate, Ive used Scotts rubber kit on my Rx3 coupe in 2009 and it fitted up really nice.
I have a 808 coupe in the build and will definitely be hitting up Scotts Auto rubber again.

Hey, i have recently dealt with Mark from Old Auto Rubber, A great data base of what products they have and even what they can use if an item is out of stock to get by. Great to deal with, very helpful and prompt freight.
I wouldn't hesitate to use them again anytime.

Both the Scott's and Old Auto Rubber kits appear to be the same (well at least they have the same part numbers for each piece), and both ~$300 cheaper than Rare Spares, yet include more pieces. I ended up going with Old Auto Rubber as they are based locally. Mark is great to deal with too.

Will report back on fitment in a month or so.
