#1 Post by sandy_re » Sat May 05, 2018 1:06 pm

hey guys...my air compressor has decided it doesnt want to work properly anymore ](*,)
does anyone know where they sell air compressors that wont cost a arm and a leg and will be good for keeping up with backyard spraying like epoxying full panels and spot priming after filler work? preferably somewhere in melbourne.

Nothing under 700 odd dollars is going to last long or operate at its capacity if used often.
Good compressors arent cheap for a reason.
Any of the pilot air compressors will do what you need to and last a life time.
Check out hare & forbes store, they at least have them all of the floor and you can have a good look.

I have had a BOC17 for nearly 13 yrs now, sprayed many cars, runs nearly all air tools with very little down time, is slow revving (3cyl), reasonably quiet, they are a rebranded ingersoll rand item but cost much less from BOC, think i paid around $750 on special for mine!!
