Weber DCOE 45 and 13B 6 Port

#1 Post by Dj_Faisca » Sun Jan 06, 2019 12:38 am

Hello, i have a RX3 which recently I put a a 13b 6 port on it from a RX7 1986 and i convert him to carb, the car i use is a weber DECOE 45 152, and i have some problems to tune it.

My jets configuration:
180 main fuel jets
170 air jets
F11 wnultions tubes
65f9 idle jets

The car was stok not porting anithing, with this configuration the car not runing well, it olds at idle and when i acelarate it goes fine the problem is when I keep the rotation evan high or low starts to fail

Maybe it's due to the float level not right?

thanks any help

i had a 13b 6port with a 48 ida a few years back o bit different.. but my thoughts are...

looking at your jets I would suggest bigger fuel jets and smaller air jets... maybe 200 fuel and 160 air. .. think you are running out out of fuel..

what size chokes/venturis do you have ?

My RX7's - ..
The new one - not so stock anymore S3 -" onclick=";return false;
The old one - DIY 13b 6 port turbo - ... &start=100" onclick=";return false;

drop the fuel pressure . it is likely pushing over or there is a float height issue

when the going is hard, don't retard, remember your lubrication
