All these pictures have been shot with a mobile phone.
All this stuff is more than half of early mazdas I came through during three years following the new comers in the yards.
Enjoy

Euxaristoume gia tis fotografies!

The older mazdas must be pretty rare and it's sad to see genuine RX3s and the like stacked in wrecking yards.

I see a few FDs in Athens whenever I'm there but I only ever saw one 1st gen RX-7 - a silver s1 or 2 with bodykit.

Thanks.
Yes, old mazdas are pretty rare.
From rotors there are still some dozens of s3 RX4s, and s1 RX7s (plus the latter ones). At the pic is one of the 3 RX3s ever seen (2 of them are already gone to the press). One more confirmed registered and one kept stored.
It might be interesting to hear that we ve got a 110s which was initially owned by a Cypriot. You can see that at mazda greece site at the history of rotary section, the engine is not the original though.

Test: What kind of car is this under the 323? (maybe only persons coming from this country will be able to answer)

I thiknk the car under the 323 is either a Moscovich, or an FSM, a fiat derivative anyhow.

We ve got some RX9s, mostly s2 surviving. I ve been told that they had 5 hp more than the 12a of the RX7s of the same period, I dont know why.

Meanwhile at weekend I ll try to post some more pics from rusty relics.

I hope you got your screw driver out and saved the head light surrounds and grille off that rx3!! Old mazdas seem pretty rare over there!

Alhthough I have no space to store it, I thinking of buying it.
May be is our last chance for a good interior and other parts.
I hate my self we lost immaculate srteering wheel, shift knob etc from another one, now gone to the press (I ll post pics).
I cannot find pics of the rusty D1500s though, its a pitty I lost them.

It looks like a 929L / Luce Legato. Would be very excited if that is actually powered by a rotary because I believe they defentely are not!

Here's what is should look like

baltsiotis would you be interested in shipping some small parts over from that 818 wagon?

My expense of course? hehe

Regards

They are for sure RX9. I ll try to post some pictures of survivors also. M y father was the sales manager of mazda that time and I do know what they were selling. I ve travelled many times with it also. I can definitely post photos of RX9 s2 though.

About the 818 parts, in the case you are talking seriously: I am sorry, I am not related with (car) business anyhow. I have no time to do it. We can hardly do some work like that in yards for our cars. The other thing is that following ausrotary and ebay this kind of parts are much more cheaper in Australia than here. But if is something easy to get, tell me and I ll try.

Friends,
This guy from greece can be right.
I am original from the island off Curacao. Its a little island in the Caribean between Puero Rico and Venezuela. My older brother works at Mazda there his from the beginning.I remember cars he brought home i never saw again in my life. For example about the 1200 and 1300 SL cars. They were models only for south america,Europe and North america.I remember the last days off the Mazda 1300 what you guy in Aus call the FATs and something else. These cars came to my island as the Mazda BRISA.Later they became KIA by mazda. And later only KIA.I got pics to scan to prove this.We also got the Mazda UTE called Brisa pick up.The Mazda rx9 from greece also came to us.Never sold as a Legato but as rx-9.Our mazda mx-6 badged as 626.The US mazda REPU came to us badged as pick-up but with the rotor emblem on the grille.Mazdarx-3 came to us only in 12A version and never saw a 10A there. They had the 10A front as wel.Maybe a GT ?? I got some pics to scan and prove you.I think mazda made some modells spacially to the market at that time. And we also got the 808 coupe and sedan with rx-3 12A front.Yes,12A front.

Will keep you updated.
