NEW FEATURE: Post Like system!!!

At long last, we have successfully implemented a comprehensive post rating/like system. With casual readers and visitors vastly outnumbering frequent posters, it is not always apparent to users that others are reading, enjoying and grateful for their posts. If you are too shy to post and want to express your thanks, now you can!

Liking a post is easy - click this thumbs up in the top right hand corner of the post: Image

Can I encourage everyone to use this new feature enthusiastically and liberally and be sure to go back to your favourite old topics and like old posts. This will help build up useful user 'like' profiles and give credit to the users who has provided so much value to this community. This in turn helps guests and newcomers sort useful answers and posters from others.

This goes to regular forum lurkers especially - please show your appreciation with a 'like'!

Featuring:
  • Liked post counters in every user profile (given & received)
  • Liked post leaderboard accessible from the index and Quick Links Menu
  • Receive notifications when your post is liked, configurable from the User Control Panel (in forum notification and/or email notifications available or off)
  • You can remove a like if you made a mistake by clicking the undo button where the thumbs up used to sit (but the user will be notified)
  • Plus more

Yellow 808/RX3 coupe "SMIK RX"

#1 Post by PSI:100 » Wed Nov 19, 2003 6:29 pm

Does anyone remeber this show stopper 808/RX3 coupe from the mid-late 90's......

Bright Yellow, with all lights and grille etc etc blacked out, 14" Exquisite wheels( B45 copies) painted yellow, black and yellow interior with a huge Kenwood stereo, 12A bridge i think...featured in a few magazines and had fake NSW black and yellow plates "SMIKRX"????????? anyone remember this car???

It was parked outside my hous this afternoon.....looking very ratty and well worn....but still exactly the same, even with NSW plates....wierd

Funny to see it up here and unchanged after about 8 years!!!!!

Smik rx3

Its a genuine coupe, and if its parked in Brissie you can be assured that its not the original owner.

The owner is still back in Wagga from my hometown owned the car, as far as I know he has another rx3 and this one is 5 times better then that.

Cant say I ever liked that 3, those wheels were the ugliest I have ever seen on any Rx3. The car went very well, the reliance extend port was a weapom.

what was down there was the most immaculate R100 ever, door trims in plastic, 1969 NRMA badge on grill....absoulte perfect. I asked the old guy 500 times to sell it to me but he loved that thing like a child.

hopefully no one got it and modified it.

Yeh it looks like shit now...was always sweet i thought, and I don't think its the original owner unless he's gone back to age 18/19!!!!

I think we all have the same mag with it on the cover right??? a green escort inside and a blue 808 sedan with a white fronted hornet scoop etc etc...yes?

I like the blacked out tail lights grille & headlight surrounds.

with polished wheels i reckon it'd like a million bux. colour coded wheels, especially when yellow doesnt seem to go too well. hopefully its undegoing a proper rebuild instead of just wasting away.

I'm going to have to give this really old post a BUMP!!

The guy who used to own my rx3 apparently purchased SMIK RX after he sold the one I own now. A guy named Matthew MacXXXXXX*.... used to and maybe still does work as an aircraft repair guy.

Anyone know him??

Matt.

I'm glad I got my rx3 before the buying/selling market comprised of 99% spastics.
