Re: The "Spotted" thread

Great photo. Looks staged, not like a random find!

Re: Fd Bridgeport, Garret, haltech build. Help

Built2apex do drop in lift/2pump surge kits for fd that use the factory sender, if I was starting again i would definitely use of of theirs. Why did you have to open your mouth Slides! You just made the bill go up like $1800. Freakin nice fuel setup.! Plus they have baffled alloy sumps like the out...

Re: Fd Bridgeport, Garret, haltech build. Help

FD manifold can flow plenty and the FD throttle body has bigger secondary plates than the Cosmo 13BRE (50mm vs 45mm). Not a problem for 2nd Gen 7, as he has a big single DBW throttle body. The fact people are running 700+rwhp on unmodified FC and FD manifolds tells you what you need to know. There I...

Re: Classic Japan 2018

The black 626 with modgies was great. I had to check whether the engine (13b) was dry-sumped it was sitting that low to the ground.

Re: Classic Japan 2018

Us 626 boys are trying to get the numbers up at events like this. We almost beat last years' record but had a couple of late withdrawals on the morning. Great photos! It was an impressive effort fron the 626 crew. Which 626 is yours? I was really keen to speak to the owner of the green 626 coupe ru...

Re: S2 RX-7 - Upgraded the Air Con condenser

Following up on my posts above.... According to the Haltech support board, with the Haltech Elite, if you enable PWM fan control, you can check a box to Enable PWM control for air conditioning. This allows you to specify a minimum duty for the fan when AC is enabled. If the AC request is enabled, it...

Re: Classic Japan 2018

Great pics mate, must have been a terrific day. Did you get any more of the grey S1, that looks super neat Just the front shot and the 2 photos of the engine bay shown above. I should have gotten more. It was a Savanna GT. Had nice upgraded interior with gauges moulded into the dash pad. Was sittin...

Classic Japan 2018

Classic Japan 2018 was held in Sunday 16 December. It was a really well organised and attended event. Great family friendly atmosphere, great variety and quality of cars, free spectator entry and excellent venue, being held along the Yarra River in Birrarung Marr park. There was also a very nice Maz...

Re: S2 RX-7 - Upgraded the Air Con condenser

The gas is just r134A with green oil for finding any leaks. I haven't looked into er13, what's the advantage there? ER12 is a legal drop in replacement for R12 and doesn't require any modifications that R134A does. It also apparently runs a lot colder, but I suspect it might also run with higher pr...

Re: S2 RX-7 - Upgraded the Air Con condenser

Awesome, thanks for this info, it's gold. 8) The Spal has pretty hefty power demands with 25-30A draw when running, but it would spike a bit higher than that on initial startup. I was going to wire it up using a 100A solid state relay, then have it setup as a PWM output on my ECU. I would adjust dut...

Re: S2 RX-7 - Upgraded the Air Con condenser

This is awesome and timely arran, as i have been looking at parallel flow upgrade options for mine. You might recall we were discussing these options in this thread a while back: http://www.ausrotary.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=214705 The option you chose looks great. Keen to hear your feedback after yo...
